BM TRADA
BM TRADA Certification is a leading multi-sector certification body accredited by UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service). Originally established to develop quality assurance schemes in the construction industry, BM TRADA has since expanded into all other industry sectors, excepting nuclear and pharmaceuticals.
BM TRADA's portfolio of services includes certification to quality, environmental, information security health & safety and food safety management systems, as well as product and personnel schemes.
CHAS (Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme)
Contractors must demonstrate compliance with, and have sound management of, current health & safety legislation.
BAFE - Registered Fire Technician Scheme
BAFE is a non-profit making organization dedicated to improving standards in fire protection. It is supported, amongst others, by government, trading standards and the Heath and Safety Executive. BAFE adopts third party Certification schemes developed by independent certifications bodies and where there are not relevant schemes in place, develops its own.
Provides the end user with the confidence that the maintenance work they are paying for is being undertaken in a professional manner
BAFE - Portable Fire Maintenance
The individual technicians are subject to on going surveillance activity by the field based assessors, thus ensuring continued compliance with the requirements and confidence for the employing organisation
BAFE - Modular Scheme SP203
This modular scheme for fire detection and alarm systems allows companies to prove their competency within the Fire industry. All scheme members are independently verified as competent through UKAS accredited Certification Bodies, who work to the scheme and then carry out annual verification to ensure continued compliance for BAFE registration
