History of Rose Fire & Security Ltd

Rose Fire & Security Limited began life as Rose Fire Engineering Limited in October 2002 to provide protection of life and property services. It was set up by Stan Metcalfe MD, who after serving his apprenticeship with Chubb Fire and having worked in many varied roles within fire engineering and sales for the 15 years prior, decided to set up a locally based firm. With over 30 years’ experience in the business, Stan and his team have built a Company which has diversified to provide the full remit of services and solutions needed to protect both people and property against fire and security based risks.

Our electrical division was formed in 2005 and achieved NICEIC (National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting) approved contactor status in 2006 allowing us to provide and certify the full range of electrical installation, maintenance, test and certification. Furthermore, we were also approved to the Domestic Installer Scheme specifically formed for domestic electrical works.

In 2011 we recognised the needs and preferences of many of our customers who wanted a one stop solution for all of their fire and security needs and made the decision to extend our range of services to cover the additional areas of electronic security systems including intruder alarms, CCTV and access control, maximising the latest technology to provide easy to use, remote interrogation through smart phones and most other internet enabled devices. To highlight the provision of the new services, the company was re-named Rose Fire & Security Limited.

2013 saw us relocate the business to custom designed offices in Bretton, Peterborough and rebranding of the company vehicles. We pride ourselves on providing a quality service and strive for continuous improvement. Through the use of state of the art technical equipment, highly qualified and skilled engineers and dedicated office support we seek to support our customers, helping them manage the risk to life and property in an ever changing, demanding business environment.
