First Aid at Work (3 day course)
Under Health and Safety law employers are responsible for the health, safety and welfare of their employees and members of the public. An assessment of first aid requirements should be made to establish first aid requirements. This comprehensive three day course covers a wide range of first aid emergencies, enabling delegates to deal with possible emergency situations in a safe, prompt and effective way. This three year valid qualification meets the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
Course Duration:
18 hours of training usually over three consecutive days, however bespoke courses can be arranged at request to be run an alternative schedule.

Certification:
Delegates will successfully pass a multiple choice paper and three practical assessments by an independent assessor. Delegates who meet the course requirements will be issued with an approved Health and Safety Executive certificate valid for three years which can be re-newed by attending a two day re-qualification course. It is strongly recommended by the H.S.E. that delegates attend annual first aid refresher training a minimum of three hours in duration, to keep these vital skills updated and renewed.

Maximum of 12 delegates per instructor, larger groups can be catered for if required.
