Fire Warden Training

This course had been designed to enable delegates to be comply with fire safety legislation, to describe the principles of combustion, to enforce fire safety polices and procedures, to effectively apply their role as a fire warden in the event of fire (evacuation of staff to fire assembly points and routine fire safety checks) being able to safely and effectively use fire fighting equipment if appropriate and take an active role in promoting fire prevention.

It is required under The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 that staff has training in regards to fire safety. After a fire risk assessment it may be appropriate to have fire wardens depending on risks identified and employee numbers.

Course Duration:

4 - 4.5 hours of training to include theory and live fire extinguisher practical training with our environmentally safe fire training rig in a safe supervised training condition.

Certification:

Delegates will be assessed throughout the course by the instructor, there is also a short multi choice question paper and delegates who meet the course requirements will be issued with a certificate. It is strongly recommended that delegates attend annual fire awareness refresher training to keep these vital safety skills updated and renewed.

Delegate numbers:

Maximum of 8 delegates per course.

Bespoke courses can be arranged where specific fire risks have been identified
