First Aid at Work (1 day course)
It is required under Health and Safety law that employers are responsible for the health, safety and welfare of their employees and members of the public. An assessment of first aid requirements should be made to establish first aid requirements. This one day course covers a range of first aid emergencies, enabling delegates to deal with possible emergency situations in a safe, prompt and effective way. This three year valid qualification meets the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
Course Duration:
6 hours of training, this is usually in one day, however bespoke courses can be arranged at request to be run over two half days or evenings.

Certification:
Delegates will be assessed throughout the course by the Instructor and delegates who meet the course requirements will be issued with an approved Health and Safety Executive certificate valid for three years. It is strongly recommended by the H.S.E. that delegates attend annual refresher training of about three hours in duration, to keep these vital skills updated and renewed.
